EZTest EO is ideal for in-office validation and monitoring of Ethylene Oxide sterilizers and has the same ease of use and indications as ProSpore
It consists of a paper disc carrier containing Bacillus atrophaeus spores
The disc is inclosed in a plastic tube along with a glass vial containing media for growing the bacterial spores
Bromothymol blue has been added to assist in detecting spore growth
The outgrowth of spores increases pH
causing a color change from green to yellow
Recommended incubation time is 48 hours
